Jason is a Movement Practitioner and owner of Trident Strength as well as a co-owner of Sporthalle – New Braunfels. Fitness and a strong love for the outdoors have been in his blood since before he could put sentences together.

His number one goal in life is to educate and help people understand themselves better. He wants to pull people out of pain while showing them a better way to move.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio after serving in the United States Military. He has also held three nationally accredited Personal Training certifications since 2006; The Cooper Institute, the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Certified Physical Preparedness Specialist.

He invests tons of time and energy every year attending seminars and training with people who have a much deeper understanding of the human body and mind than he does.

The study runs deep. Always the student.

What is your favorite thing about training people?
Problem solving. Period. There was a time in my career where I would refer injuries and ailments away from me. I was afraid of giving advice. That has changed drastically. I invite any and all issues with open arms. Don't get me wrong, I will 100% stay in my lane, but we're going to talk about it at a minimum.
Who is your favorite population to work with?
I will work with anyone, like I said, problem solving is my thing no matter the problem. However, I have a special place in my heart for Combat Athletes. If you're an MMA fighter, a wrestler, grappler, etc, and you're hungry, I need you in my circle. I work with a handful of athletes out of the Ohana Academy in San Antonio to include, Alex Hernandez (UFC Lightweight), as well as a few other pros like Irish Pat Ferguson, Julia Ottolino (Invicta Bantamweight), Marcell Mickens, and a few others. Tyler Ramirez is a senior wrestler at New Braunfels High School who is currently getting serious looks from a few huge DI wrestling universities. Keep your eyes on this young man!
Something funny. Go...
The Ohana guys call me The Shaman. It's kinda funny, but I take it serious. These guys and girls depend on me to help them stay healthy and strong, both mentally and physically so they can grow their careers. I don't take that lightly.
