FAQs

What will my first time in your gym be like?

Your first time in, we want you to feel comfortable. One of our coaches will give you a tour of the facility and then sit down to talk goals with you.

We’ll do a quick fitness assessment and we’ll walk you through what you can expect pushing forward.

Why is your gym more expensive than other gyms?

We know you may have a lot of choices on where to workout.

Sure, there are options out there that are fast, cheap, and easy…but we don’t associate with fast, cheap, and easy.

Every coach in our facility invests tons of time, money, and resources to stay at the tip of the spear. We take pride in that.

We’re not here to just provide you a “workout.” We’re here to provide you an experience.

You’ll have to see it to believe it!

What’s your drop-in policy?

We love nothing more than having visitors from other areas and walks of life come “throw down” with us!

If you are just passing through, we charge a drop in fee of $20 per day. If you show up on a Saturday at 930am, it’s free!

It’d be great if you’d plan on arriving 15 minutes before scheduled class time so we can provide you with a waiver to sign and introduce you to our facility. You can find our class schedule Here.

You may find that we do things a little differently than your “gym back home.” We hope you enjoy the change in scenery, clientele, maybe even our music.

How often do you recommend I come to the gym?

In a perfect world, you’d be here every day of the week. That’s not always possible for some folks and we understand that.

Ideally, you could plan on hitting Strength & Conditioning 2-3 times per week and recovery in the Foundations of Human Movement class twice a week.

At the end of the day, something is always better than nothing.

What exactly is CrossFit?

CrossFit, by its definition, uses “constantly varied, functional movement performed at a relatively high intensity.”

As a truly functional program, the difficulty level of our daily workouts are designed to be increased or decreased, depending upon the individual. This makes them doable by anyone.

Daily workouts could include things such as core conditioning, rowing, sprinting, gymnastics, lifting, etc. All of our workouts are designed to improve overall mobility, strength, speed, endurance, and agility.

The number one goal is to get you moving and performing better. Once this falls into place, so does everything you came looking for.

I’m not in very good shape… can I do CrossFit?

The very first thing you will discover is that CrossFit does not discriminate. Whether you are young at heart, just completed your 50th marathon, or you are recovering from injury, we will help get you to where you are going.

One of the things that makes CrossFit so unique is our community of people from literally every walk of life: stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, students, CEOs, members of the armed services, firefighters, you name it, that’s who we are.

CrossFit bodies – our bodies – come in every imaginable size, shape and age; and yet, our workouts are designed for anyone..

Yes, anyone.

I heard that CrossFitter’s use their own language, can you help me with the terms?

Sure!
